Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll interact directly with patients to influence generic utilization, therapy changes, answer questions, solve problems, provide education, and maintain our reputation for high-quality service. This role requires independent and self-directed performance while working across a greater team. You'll work closely with our Specialty Projects Team to conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications while ensuring patients receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate the benefits of generics or other appropriate therapy to patients, aiming to provide overall savings to patients and clients.
  • Conduct generic conversions or therapy changes on targeted medications in collaboration with the Specialty Projects Team.
  • Perform numerous adherence outreach efforts to ensure patients stay on their medications and remain adherent and compliant to their therapies.
  • Effectively handle incoming or outgoing phone calls to patients, clients, and other customers while proactively gaining patient and order information.
  • Utilize working knowledge of insurance, healthcare, reimbursement-related requirements for dispensing, processing of new referrals, and providing customer education.
  • Identify and escalate routine assessments and problems to a pharmacist as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of customer service experience handling and resolving customer needs over the phone.
  • 6+ months of high-volume customer service experience working in Windows, Microsoft, or another similar application.
  • Verifiable High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Must reside in the state of Nevada.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare industry or pharmacy setting.
  • Knowledge of healthcare terminology and concepts.
  • Previous experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
