Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic bakery counter clerk to join our team at Nata's Cake and Cookhouse. As a bakery clerk, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our bakery and prepared food departments. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers in selecting bakery products and prepared foods and provide product information

- Prepare and package items such as bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies and deli case

- Ensure proper handling and storage of products to maintain freshness and quality

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department and prepared section

- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work environment

- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and customer demands

Experience:

- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

- Basic math skills for calculating quantities
