Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Remote Member/Customer Services Advocate to join our collaborative team. As a key member of our customer service team, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our members, ensuring high satisfaction, growth, and retention. About the Role

As a Remote Member/Customer Services Advocate, you'll work directly with AAA Life members in a fast-paced inbound contact center, providing outstanding service and support. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Providing exceptional service to every caller by building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication.
  • Applying problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations.
  • Effectively handling customer concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution, while keeping records of all interactions and changes.
  • Confidentially handling policy owner information and ensuring compliance and communication standards are met.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a customer service-related position, with a high value placed on the customer/member experience; insurance/call center experience preferred
  • Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies desired
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, and knowledge of various insurance products preferred
  • Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework preferred
  • High School Diploma required; some college-level coursework preferred
  • Must possess internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload and be able to support a VPN
