SAP EAM Consultant Repair and Maintenance (P2S) - MNR Consulting Services

Title: SAP EAM Consultant Repair and Maintenance (P2S) Location: Remote with possible infrequent travel to Rosslyn, VA Duration: 12+ months

Project Overview: Our client is leading the technical upgrade of their critical Financial and Procurement systems for a major branch of the Department of Defense (DoD), transitioning from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA. The project focuses on a fit-to-standard approach, minimizing customizations and aligning with S/4 HANA s standard configuration. Key efforts include defining requirements for the upgrade and supporting business process re-engineering.

Responsibilities include

• Conducting fit-gap analysis to identify process alignment opportunities, minimizing customizations while ensuring compliance with logistics and sustainment requirements.
• Facilitating business process reengineering (BPR) sessions to improve Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) processes, ensuring seamless repair and maintenance operations across preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
• Designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP EAM processes in S/4HANA to support equipment reliability, asset lifecycle management, and operational readiness.
• Establishing and maintaining master data for repair and maintenance, including Equipment, Functional Locations, Bills of Material (BOMs), and Maintenance Work Centers.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with MM, SD, and FICO modules.
• Developing functional design documents (FDDs), configuration workbooks, and test scripts.
• Supporting data migration strategy for EAM processes, ensuring data readiness and alignment with the S/4HANA framework.
• Participating in strategic planning and governance discussions related to ERP modernization, providing insights into organizational change management (OCM) and user adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EAM (Plant Maintenance) process design, configuration, and implementation, with expertise in preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of master data setup for repair and maintenance processes, including Equipment, Functional Locations, BOMs, and Maintenance Work Centers.
• Proven experience with S/4HANA implementations, with deep understanding of EAM capabilities and integration points with MM, SD, and FICO.
• Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Public Sector, or government regulated industry experience (i.e., Aerospace & Defense) required. Army or Navy experience is preferred.
• Infrequent travel to Rosslyn, VA may be required. Candidates with relevant experience who are unable to travel will still be considered.
• Interim or Active Secret Clearance required.
