Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you'll be responsible for answering a high volume of incoming calls and in-person visits, resolving customer inquiries and issues, and promoting our services in a professional and courteous manner. If you're a team player with excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a willingness to learn and grow, we'd love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

* Answer a high volume of incoming calls and in-person visits in a timely and professional manner * Resolve customer inquiries and issues related to online orders, shipping, and delivery * Provide accurate and helpful information to customers regarding Costco.com and our services * Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve complex issues and escalate concerns when necessary * Work closely with internal teams, including purchasing and activities staff, to resolve customer issues and improve overall service * Use multiple computer programs simultaneously on various screens while on the phone or answering visits * Maintain accurate records and documentation of customer interactions and issues

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred * Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse customer groups * Proficient in computer software and technology, with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly * Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and split days off

Preferred Qualifications

* Solid foundation in customer service, including excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to adapt and function well under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Capacity to take ownership and resolve issues independently * Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers in multiple languages
