About the Role

As a Speech-Language Pathologist with Powerback Rehabilitation's Journey Travel Program, you'll embark on a journey that combines the stability of full-time employment with the excitement of travel. You'll have the opportunity to work in various settings across the nation, including Hawaii, and make a lasting impact on the lives of your patients. Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patient needs and develop personalized recovery plans
  • Deliver high-quality speech therapy services to patients in various settings
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity
  • Adapt to the unique needs of each patient and setting
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare teams

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Speech-Language Pathologist with Powerback Rehabilitation, you'll need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow
  • Licensure, certification, or credentialing as required by the state of practice
  • Strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering patient-centered care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a variety of settings
