About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and colleagues

Pharmacy Operations

• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, patient information, and pharmacy operations
• Utilize pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and manage inventory
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation

Data Entry and Administrative Tasks

• Perform data entry tasks, including entering patient and drug information, processing prescriptions, and updating records
• Manage and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain logistics

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
• Basic math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
• Computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy management systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a retail environment
• Previous work experience with Walgreens
• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification or willingness to obtain
• Knowledge of inventory management and pharmacy operations
