Remote Technology Education Teacher: Join Our Team

We're seeking an experienced Remote Technology Education Teacher to join our team. As a Secondary Technical Electives Teacher, you'll play a critical role in delivering personalized and engaging instruction to students in various technical and career/tech-ed (CTE) courses. This is a remote position that requires a strong and diverse skillset, a passion for education, and a commitment to driving student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized instruction and support to students in technical and CTE courses, using a range of digital tools and platforms.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, using proactive communication and a customer-centric approach.
• Provide ongoing monitoring of student progress, intervening as needed to address gaps and deliver remediation.
• Collaborate with peers and administrators to drive student success, sharing best practices and contributing to a positive and supportive company culture.
• Proctor student assessments, traveling to testing locations as required.
• Maintain a strong and supportive company culture, contributing to recruitment, retention, and community outreach goals.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
• Teacher certification and completion of an approved teacher preparation program.
• At least three years of teaching experience, with a preference for online teaching experience.
• Ability to be licensed to teach technology courses in Arizona, Colorado, and Washington.
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Google Apps for Education, learning management systems, and modern communication tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

• At least two years of online teaching experience.
• At least one year of experience learning or working online.
• Experience with technical electives and CTE courses.
