Job Summary

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager - Hotel, you will play a critical role in driving strategic sourcing efforts for a portfolio of hotel operational spend categories. You will analyze spend, stay up-to-date with industry and supplier trends, and develop effective strategies to deliver value creation, innovation, and savings. This is a leadership role that requires strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, as well as the ability to influence business strategy and supplier relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an integrated strategic sourcing process across assigned categories, utilizing a 7-step strategic sourcing process.
  • Analyze spend, identify trends, and develop effective strategies to deliver value creation, innovation, and savings.
  • Negotiate multi-million-dollar contracts with suppliers, engaging with stakeholders at the VP and SVP level.
  • Manage contracts and key supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including hotel operational teams, to understand business needs and develop effective sourcing strategies.
  • Develop and implement multi-year growth plans for assigned categories, with a focus on commercial awareness and trend analysis.
  • Manage a significant spend portfolio, with oversight of $100-200M in Opex/CapEx.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in influencing business strategy and supplier relations.

Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and problem-solve.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data analysis and financial modeling.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence others.
  • Strong knowledge of contracting and procurement best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced business environment, with a focus on results and deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CPSM or CPM certification preferred.
  • Experience in the hospitality or cruise industry.
  • Strong knowledge of industry trends and supplier landscape.
