Job Description:

The Data Analyst will provide actionable insights by extracting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support operational and strategic decisions across the organization. This role requires expertise in SQL, reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and Excel, with a focus on creating business dashboards for non-manufacturing environments like health insurance. The ideal candidate is comfortable with manual reporting tasks and thrives in a data-driven, compliance-focused setting.

Job Responsibilities

    • Extract and clean data from company systems (e.g., CRM, claims database) using SQL and other tools.
    • Analyze data to identify trends (e.g., claim denial rates, sales conversion rates, customer churn).
    • Build and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms for departments like Sales, Call Center, Claims, and leadership.
    • Support Process Engineer and CX Specialist with data for process optimization and CX initiatives.
    • Prepare ad-hoc and recurring reports, including manual reporting when needed.
    • Ensure data accuracy and compliance with health insurance regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
    • Present insights to leadership and cross-functional teams to drive data-informed decisions.

Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field (required).
    • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting in a business environment, preferably non-manufacturing (e.g., health insurance, financial services).
    • Proven expertise in SQL, reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), and advanced Excel (e.g., pivot tables, Vlookup).
    • Demonstrated experience creating business dashboards with measurable impact (portfolio or proof of work required).
    • Comfortable performing manual reporting and monotonous tasks as needed.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    • Experience with Python or R for advanced data analysis.
    • Familiarity with other data analysis frameworks.
    • Ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders

Additional Requirements

    • Can commit to work for 40 hrs work week
    • Flexibility to work in U.S. time zones, Monday to Friday
    • Able to maintain a distraction-free home office setup.
    • Possess a laptop/desktop meeting minimum specifications: 8GB RAM, i5 operating system.
