About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our Quality Control Standards and Data Insights team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by identifying trends and performance metrics to improve our Quality Control division. You will work closely with our team to analyze complex data, identify areas for improvement, and develop recommendations for process enhancements that align with our company's objectives.

Responsibilities and Expectations

As a Full Stack Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Performing and assisting others in the Quality Control group in optimal data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data components.
  • Assisting with creating and presenting results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
  • Assisting with exploring ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and providing logical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make business decisions while balancing existing project responsibilities.
  • Presenting insights, trends, and potential recommendations by utilizing data visualization tools supporting the relevant marks of the investigation to ease partner understanding.
  • Assisting with developing and disseminating specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and approving the need of the data requirements.
  • Identifying irregularities in processes through reviews/audits and conveying findings to the team.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of processes and methods by observing for patterns and errors.
  • Ensuring that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
  • May perform other work responsibilities as directed by Group Leader.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large datasets with precision and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar software.
  • Experience with data analysis and statistical software such as R, Python, or SQL is a plus.
  • A strong understanding of business issues, the ability to identify valuable opportunities for data needs, and the ability to interpret resulting metrics.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and communication.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with data-driven decision-making and the ability to develop recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
  • Experience in a related field, such as data analysis, business intelligence, or operations research.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar software.
  • Experience with statistical software such as R, Python, or SQL.
  • Experience with data mining and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI or similar software.
  • Experience with data visualization and presentation tools such as PowerPoint or similar software.
