Job Summary
As an Experienced Merchandising Team Member, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our stores are visually appealing, well-stocked, and easy to navigate. You'll work closely with our store teams to implement effective merchandising strategies, achieve sales goals, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that products are properly stocked and displayed, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and accuracy to enhance the customer's shopping experience
- Enact modifications in pricing strategies, rearrange stock, and execute exclusive ventures to enhance the way products are exhibited to customers and meet suppliers' aspirations
- Achieve sales goals through effective strategy implementation and meticulous attention to product placement
- Formulate showcases and supports with the aid of fundamental manual and power tools while warranting exhibit materials, labels, and pamphlets are renewed
- Collaborate with store teams to implement visual merchandising strategies and achieve sales goals
- Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers
- Foster and maintain enduring relationships with store employees and suppliers
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
* 1-2 years of experience in retail merchandising or a related field
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel overnight (up to 30 miles) on a rotating weekly basis
- Mileage reimbursement offered as part of the package
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with visual merchandising software and tools
- Knowledge of retail operations and customer service principles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
