Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced part-time senior caregiver to join our team in San Diego, CA. As a senior caregiver, you will work with families to provide companionship, support, and assistance with daily living activities, including:
- Companionship (discussing, playing games, watching TV, etc.)
- Transportation
- Lunch Prep/Grocery Shopping
- Laundry washing
- Cleaning
- Hands-on/Medical Elder Care Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):
+ Companion Care + Mobility Help + Bathing/Dressing + Feeding
Responsibilities
As a senior caregiver, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support to seniors
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Preparing meals and snacks
- Accompanying seniors on outings and errands
- Maintaining a clean and safe living environment
- Communicating with families and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a verifiable phone number
- Ability to pass a standard experience test
- Have a legitimate Social Security Number
- Be helpful, honest, and dedicated
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Certification in caregiving or a related field (e.g., CNA, HHA)
- Bilingual or multilingual skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
