The Role

As an Experienced Overnight Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for answering calls, greeting customers warmly, and resolving issues by dispatching to the appropriate contacts. You will be the first point of contact for our clients' customers, and your exceptional communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities will make all the difference in delivering a positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

* Act as a human answering service outside or during business hours for a variety of businesses, including doctor's offices, hospitals, and other medical fields.

  • Emergency dispatching
  • Greet customers warmly via phone, email, or chat.
  • Monitor alarm systems.
  • Order entry
  • Take messages by asking questions according to client's specifications.
  • Transfer calls via computer system based on instructions provided by clients.
  • Schedule, reschedule & cancel appointments for several different industries.

Essential Qualifications

* Basic computer proficiency, such as web-based applications, keyboard functions, etc.

  • Creative and proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • Experience on the Amtelco platform is a plus
  • Flexible personality with the ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Genuinely friendly and compassionate demeanor
  • High School Diploma/Equivalent
  • Ability to work 1 weekend day
  • High attention to detail
  • Type 25 WPM

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in telephone answering service/customer service

  • Experience working in a call center environment
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
