We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Security Analyst to join our Data Protection team at Delta Airlines. As a key member of our security team, you will play a critical role in protecting our sensitive information and ensuring the security of our cloud and information systems. As a Full Stack Security Analyst, you will be responsible for the following key areas:- Regulating information security tools, including installation, upgrading, investigating, testing, and reporting.
- Auditing data loss prevention (DLP) alerts within a specified timeframe.
- Maintaining the DLP software upgrade schedule to test and upgrade our technical solutions continuously.
- Resolving DLP alerts by implementing remediation procedures and defensive controls.
- Testing and tuning data identification solutions to reduce false positives.
- Creating guides to investigate, test, and implement new features within our toolsets.
- Fostering new strategies using regex, AI, fingerprinting, and dictionaries to monitor unique data types.
- Collaborating with other business areas to report identified business processes handling sensitive information and provide best practice suggestions.
- Ensuring existing business processes meet information security best practices, approving processes, and proposing security upgrades.
- Implementing proposed upgrades to the organization.
- Collaborating with the business to lead discovery outputs to identify sensitive data, auditing results with data owners, and providing guidance on safely storing that information.
- Auditing existing organizational design, architecture, and strategies and evaluating overall compliance against best practices.
- Assessing and developing new information security solutions in accordance with cloud requirements, operationalizing these solutions to deliver value to the business.
- Executing defensive controls in the cloud to ensure the privacy, integrity, and availability of information.
- Successfully communicating information security ideas to non-technical business leaders.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience working with DLP technologies, including a strong understanding of how data in motion, data at rest, and data in use is monitored.
- Strong technical knowledge of secure models, system architectures, policies, and procedures.
- Experience with planning and automating information security processes for cloud environments, including AWS.
- Strong understanding of organized and unstructured data.
- Experience working with Information Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions.
- Experience managing Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solutions.
- Experience with deploying and managing information security solutions.
- Experience with managing devices using Microsoft Intune.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, such as PCI and GDPR.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on health and safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong client-centric mindset.
- Embracing diverse individuals, perspectives, and styles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+, or SANS GIAC.
- Cloud certifications, such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solutions Architect.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
