Note: Candidate should be based out in nearby location and should be willing to travel for meetings etc. at least 2 in-person meetings per month

Job Description

• Design and implement scalable data architectures, integrating data warehouses, lakes, and cloud platforms.
• Define data models, schemas, and standards to support analytics, AI/ML, and business intelligence needs.
• Partner with business and technology teams to translate requirements into robust data solutions.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance are embedded in architectural designs.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to optimize performance, cost, and scalability.

Key Skills (couple of them in each section):

• Databases & Warehousing: Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery, SQL Server, Oracle
• Data Modeling & Design: ER modeling, dimensional modeling, normalization, metadata management
• Data Integration & ETL/ELT: Informatica, Talend, dbt, Azure Data Factory, Apache Spark, Kafka
• Programming & Querying: SQL, Python, Scala
• Governance & Security: Data governance frameworks, lineage, access control, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)
• Visualization & BI (desirable): Power BI, Tableau, Looker.
