Lead Atlassian Engineer (Open to Canada Nearshore only/Remote) - Diligente Technologies
Note: This role is open to only Canada Nearshore Location and will be remote.
Role Highlights
- Lead development & administration of Atlassian Data Center products (JIRA & Confluence)
- Build advanced dashboards & macros to automate reporting and deliver real-time insights across engineering, PMO, and product teams
- Replace manual reporting with custom JQL scripting, Gantt macros, initiative roll-ups for sprint planning, roadmap visibility, and leadership updates
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable reporting solutions
- Support non-technical users with actionable tools & dashboards
Key Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in software development with hands-on Atlassian Data Center (JIRA & Confluence) expertise
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation
- Proven experience building custom JQL queries, macros, and automated dashboards
- Experience hosting/scaling Atlassian in Azure Cloud
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices, performance tuning, database technologies (PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle), and enterprise-level scaling
- Excellent communication & collaboration skills with a business-first mindset
