About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our Google Cloud team on a part-time, remote basis. As a Technical Program Manager, you'll play a critical role in driving complex, multi-disciplinary projects from conception to delivery. Your technical expertise, leadership abilities, and collaborative mindset will be essential in ensuring the success of our global infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and stakeholders, to address the global fleet of Third-Party Data Centers (3PDC), driving project goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, develop comprehensive analyses, and present findings and recommendations to senior leaders.
  • Design and automate metrics, building and prototyping dashboards to provide actionable insights at scale.
  • Drive process improvements through data analysis, visualization, and business recommendations, identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to optimize 3PDC operations.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or business administration.
  • At least 3 years of experience in program management, with a focus on technical projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects, identifying risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Experience with financial modeling, data analysis, and data visualization using tools like spreadsheets and SQL.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience managing large, cross-functional projects with diverse stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
  • Technical program management experience, with a deep understanding of software development life cycles and technical project planning.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to drive project goals and objectives, with a strong emphasis on building and maintaining relationships.
