Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our business intelligence team, supporting partners across the organization with actionable insights around our growing membership business. As a Data Analyst, you will work autonomously to build and maintain automated dashboards and other projects that will drive discovery around subscriber journeys, content utilization, and client credits. You will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, analyze complex data sets, and provide recommendations that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Query relevant tables and complex data sets to create and maintain automated dashboards for KPI/metrics reporting
  • Field ad-hoc data requests from partners and proactively identify opportunities to leverage customer data to answer timely business questions
  • Analyze datasets and transform them into actionable insights, with a focus on subscriber journeys, content utilization, and client credits
  • Assist with A/B testing and measurement of results, and provide recommendations to stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain complex data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Domo, or similar instruments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer engagement

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics)
  • 2+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role
  • Intermediate experience creating data visualizations and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Domo, or similar instruments
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or similar programming languages
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and build trust with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics or similar tools
  • Background in journalism or publication content websites
  • Familiarity with data storytelling and presentation techniques
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
