Key Responsibilities

• Design, coordinate, and execute live productions of live, remote games, ensuring timely and high-quality broadcasts
• Collaborate with producers and production teams to determine creative and technical direction for live remote game broadcasts
• Work with event operations teams to plan and execute technical requirements for live broadcasts, including staffing and equipment needs
• Lead and manage technical teams during live event productions, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching to team members
• Provide guidance to schools and production partners on TV production best practices and industry standards
• Liaise with school production partners to provide timely feedback on student-produced content
• Visit school production partner campuses to assess equipment, discuss production methods, and provide guidance to administrative staff
• Conduct research on teams, players, storylines, and trends to stay informed on each assigned game/sport
• Provide guidance to live talent before broadcasts and during broadcasts as needed
• Make on-the-spot decisions regarding camera angles, sound, and other technical aspects of live broadcasts
• Troubleshoot technical issues that arise during live broadcasts
• Ensure accurate embedding of ads and promotions for assigned productions
• Participate in the development of concepts and content for assigned games to enhance viewer engagement and market penetration

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., communications, broadcasting, or a technical field)
• Substantial experience in live sports broadcasting, with a focus on technical production and coordination
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of live game coordinating processes and technical equipment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions during live broadcasts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Comprehension of the financial implications of coordinating live remote games
• Enthusiasm for popular culture and understanding of current trends
• Knowledge of market positioning and strategies for assigned games
• Travel required (occasional)
