Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Adversarial Abuse team in identifying and mitigating threats from malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, engagement abuse, and other forms of abuse
• Develop and implement effective strategies to prevent harm and promote trust on the platform, using data-driven insights and analytics to inform decision making
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including Product Management, Engineering, and Policy Development, to develop and implement policies and tools to prevent adversarial abuse
• Manage a team of experts in adversarial abuse and business analytics, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure the team's success
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including executives, product managers, and engineers, to ensure that the team's work is aligned with company goals and objectives
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and threats in the online safety space, using this knowledge to inform strategic decision making and drive innovation

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., computer science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics)
• At least 4 years of experience in risk management, fraud prevention, or a related field, with a focus on data-driven decision making
• At least 2 years of experience leading teams, with a proven track record of success in managing and developing high-performing teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and drive insights
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional partners and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a related field (e.g., master's or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or statistics)
• Experience working with large datasets and machine learning models, with a focus on anomaly detection and predictive analytics
• Knowledge of SQL, R, or MATLAB, with experience working with data visualization tools and techniques
• Experience working in the online safety space, with a focus on adversarial abuse and trust and safety
