Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced part-time remote data entry specialist to join our Amazon warehouse team. As a data entry specialist, you will be responsible for selecting, packing, and shipping orders, as well as performing various tasks to ensure that our products meet quality requirements. This is a part-time remote opportunity, with flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs.
Key Responsibilities
As a data entry specialist, your duties may include:
- Receiving and putting away inventory
- Getting customer orders ready and packing them up
- Loading boxes into trucks for shipment
- Using scanners to read bar codes on products
- Viewing prompts on screens and following the direction for some tasks
- Troubleshooting problems
- Ensuring product meets quality requirements
- Operating power industrial trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet driver, and working at heights up to 35 feet. Equipment training and certification are provided free of cost.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be able to:
- Lift up to 49 pounds
- Push utility carts up to 60 pounds
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
- Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
- Go up and down stairs (where applicable)
- Work at a height of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (where applicable)
- Adhere to strict safety, quality, and fulfillment production standards
