Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack DevOps Engineer to join our team in Illinois, USA. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of DevOps tooling, practices, and culture across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead the development of DevOps strategies, including the design and implementation of tools, practices, and culture to support continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

  • Establish and maintain DevOps best practices, including version control, code review, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
  • Design and implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar to provision and manage cloud resources.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or similar to ensure fast and reliable application deployment.
  • Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze DevOps pipelines and practices, identifying areas for improvement, automation, and optimization to enhance deployment consistency and accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technology trends, patterns, and best practices, and make recommendations for their adoption within the organization's DevOps environment.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior colleagues, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
  • Strong experience working in open cloud environments, such as GCP, Azure, or AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools, such as Jenkins and CircleCI, and version control systems, like Git.
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or C++.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate complex DevOps system issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and Cloud Logging Services.

  • Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, including experience with vulnerability scanning, compliance frameworks, and secure deployment practices.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring and directing junior team members, is a plus.
