Job Summary

As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and efficient data pipelines, working with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data engineering projects, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements. You will also be responsible for ensuring data quality, security, and compliance, and for identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop scalable and efficient data pipelines using cloud infrastructure, data lakes, and data engineering tools

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data engineering projects, and to ensure that data engineering projects are aligned with business objectives
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs and requirements, and to develop data solutions that meet their needs
  • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance, and identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Develop and maintain data engineering documentation, including data dictionaries, data flow diagrams, and data quality reports
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop data-driven insights and recommendations
  • Participate in Agile development ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Advanced level experience in cloud infrastructure, data lakes, and data engineering tools
  • Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance
  • Experience with data engineering tools, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
  • Experience with data quality, security, and compliance, including data validation, data encryption, and data access control
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban

Required Education

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Required Experience

* Advanced level experience in cloud infrastructure, data lakes, and data engineering tools

  • Experience with data engineering tools, including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, and Scala
  • Experience with data quality, security, and compliance, including data validation, data encryption, and data access control

Pay and Benefits

* Competitive salary range from $137,250 to $152,500 per year, depending on qualifications and experience
