Job Summary

As a Merchant Services Group Captain, you will report to our Merchant Services Manager and play a key role in our Inbound Enactments group within our Merchant Services organization. You will be responsible for leading a team of customer support specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure exceptional customer experiences. You will also be responsible for identifying ways to improve processes, implementing projects to drive efficiency and quality, and resolving escalated issues from clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of customer support specialists and provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure exceptional customer experiences
  • Develop and implement processes to drive efficiency and quality in customer support operations
  • Identify ways to improve processes and implement projects to drive continuous improvement
  • Resolve escalated issues from clients and employees in a timely and effective manner
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve customer experiences
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of DoorDash's products and services to provide effective support to customers and merchants

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in an office environment, preferably in customer support or operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a leadership or management role
  • Experience in the food delivery or technology industry
  • Certification in customer support or operations
