As a Customer Service Representative in our Group (dental and vision) insurance division, you'll play a vital role in driving our business forward by delivering exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations and fosters loyalty.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work remotely in Nebraska as a full-time Customer Service Representative, starting October 16, 2023. As a key member of our team, you'll be the primary point of contact for dental and vision professionals and insured members, providing timely, courteous, and diplomatic support via inbound phone calls and other interactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exceed customer service standards by handling customer interactions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Respond to inbound phone calls, emails, and other inquiries from dental and vision professionals and insured members, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Offer website navigation support and password resets to customers, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Meet and exceed area production standards and Group metrics, driving business results.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-2 years of related experience; contact center, customer service, dental office, and/or insurance experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse customers.
  • Proficient use of computer systems and keyboarding skills; ability to quickly learn our systems and technology.
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations and respond accordingly.
  • Ability to work overtime when required to support business needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with dental and vision insurance products and services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
