About the Role

As a Field Sales Representative, you'll be the face of Philips Oral Healthcare in the Pittsburgh area, building strong, strategic relationships with dental professionals, including dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other key stakeholders. Your mission will be to detail the latest innovations in our product portfolio, drive sales, and foster a culture of excellence in oral healthcare practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell the Philips Oral Healthcare product portfolio to dental professionals, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets and promote a healthy oral care plan for patients.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the science and clinical significance behind our products, including Sonicare power toothbrushes and Zoom Whitening systems, to effectively consult with dental professionals.
  • Build and execute a territory business plan focused on driving product usage, recommendations, and sales results within existing, new, and enterprise accounts.
  • Utilize CRM systems, sales management data, and dashboard tools daily to track call activities and order entry, ensuring efficient sales operations.
  • Foster relationships with Professional Educators and Industry Key Opinion Leaders to drive recommendations and sales, including participation in dental conventions and local dental associations.
  • Effectively translate consultative practice-building techniques into office-level implementations, enhancing customer engagement and sales performance.
  • Achieve established key performance indicator expectations and collaborate with the Inside Sales team to maximize territory coverage and efficiency.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of Business-to-Business sales experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals and quotas.
  • A Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience that demonstrates your ability to excel in a sales environment.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, phone, and presentation skills, with the ability to quickly learn new concepts and processes.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook), and iPad applications.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications can enhance your candidacy:

  • Dental or medical sales experience, which can provide a valuable background in understanding the needs of dental professionals.
  • A strong network within the dental community, including relationships with key opinion leaders and dental professionals.
