Reservations Manager

We are inviting applications from suitably qualified people to fill the position of Reservations Manager, at Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, Anguilla. In your role, you will be responsible for managing the reservations process and delivering outstanding results including a focus on LQA Standards and Forbes 5-star rating, by ensuring Quality, attention to detail, and driving perfection throughout the resort.
- Oversee the reservation functionality of the resort and work closely with the Director of Reservation to maximise revenue
- Manage and monitor reservations, training, and Guest Response processes
- Manage daily Reservations processes and operations to include, but not limited to, room inventory and availability, group rooming lists and blocks, cut-off dates and restrictions, occupancy, selling guest rooms, department management and policy and procedure implementation and enforcement
- Manage the department's adherence to achieving the hotel's selling strategy
- Manage and communicate information regarding hotel occupancy, promotion, special reservation procedures, operational issues, and special events
- Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, conducting counseling and evaluations, providing professional development, and delivering recognition and reward
- Bachelor's degree in business administration/Hospitality/Sales and Marketing or related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a Reservations Manager or Assistant Rooms Manager in luxury hospitality or related job function
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a high-performing team
- Excellent selling capabilities and the ability and desire to coach selling techniques to Team Members
- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Computer literate in Microsoft applications
- Ability to work well under pressure
