Responsibilities

As a Lounge Bartender, you will be responsible for:

• Taking orders, mixing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests at the bar and dining areas
• Coordinating and maintaining the orderly appearance of all lounge spaces
• Providing support for all lounge services, including refreshments, furniture arrangement, and meal services
• Dispensing and serving beverage refreshments to guests in the bar and lounge areas
• Preparing signature cocktails, dispensing wines, and champagnes from a specified wine list
• Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of the bar area and utensils for a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked bar
• Setting up the bar for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service to established standards
• Operating the register, delivering all sales amounts and complimentary drink coupons to the Airline Representative
• Assisting customers with information and special needs as directed by the Airline Representative and HMSHost
• Receiving, verifying, and stocking deliveries against invoices
• Following alcohol awareness procedures to prevent intoxication and handle intoxicated guests
• Adhering to all HMSHost and airline customer service, adult beverage, and cash handling policies and procedures
• Ensuring a positive guest experience, resolving customer complaints in a manner consistent with policy and customer satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

* Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages

• Minimum of 3 years bartending experience, including work in an airport lounge or casual dine restaurant
• Knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, along with the ability to stay updated on new beverage trends
• Demonstrated tact and discretion in interactions with premium clientele
• Ability to maintain a polished appearance aligned with service standards for our valued customers
• Friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing demeanor while interacting with customers and coworkers
• Physical capability to lift/move up to 40 pounds, walk, bend, twist, and stand during normal job functions
• Comfortable with frequent hand immersion in water and chemical solutions

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience working in a high-end or luxury environment

• Knowledge of mixology and craft cocktails
• Familiarity with wine and spirits inventory management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
