About the Role

We're seeking an exceptional leader to join our Enterprise product & platform organization as a Director of Technical Program Management (TPM). In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise and program management skills to drive the development of large-scale products and platforms, focusing on automation, DevOps, and creating a world-class developer experience. You'll not only lead critical programs but also contribute to the growth and development of our TPM discipline, influencing cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale technical programs with a focus on enterprise platforms, DevOps, automation, and developer experience, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Drive technical discussions with senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations that guide technology-based decisions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of technical program managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
  • Simplify complex technical issues and drive well-informed decisions across product, engineering, design, and data science teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and architects, to identify and mitigate technical risks.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the TPM practice, enhancing our capabilities and maturity in technical program management.
  • Embody exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with a quantitative approach to decision-making.

Essential Qualifications

  • At least 7 years of experience in managing technical programs, with a proven track record of success.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical field (Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent).
  • Strong technical background, ideally with experience in building highly scalable platforms, products, or services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing.
  • 5+ years of experience in building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing services/architecture, preferably AWS.
  • 5+ years of experience in building and leading experienced TPM teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in building highly scalable mobile products and platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience in a multi-cloud environment and with DevOps practices.
  • MBA or Master's Degree in a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that includes:

  • A salary range of $197,500 - $225,400 for remote locations, with variations based on location.
  • Performance-based incentive compensation, including cash bonuses and long-term incentives.
