Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy web applications on AWS that meet the needs of TechOps clients
• Expand proof-of-concept and MVP projects to validate new architectures and solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze customer requirements and derive software design and performance requirements
• Develop high-quality code, participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to software development standards
• Debug existing software, correct defects, and provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Implement scalable and fault-tolerant systems on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront
• Work with the development team to ensure that all applications are optimized for performance and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug web applications and infrastructure issues
• Collaborate with other teams to enhance the overall architecture and design of web applications
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AWS and web development technologies

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong experience with web development and web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as Ruby on Rails, Node.js, or Django
• Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront
• Knowledge of containerization and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based infrastructure
• Understanding of database systems and SQL
• Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems
