We are looking for a highly skilled Maximo Deployment Engineer to support the deployment and management of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8/9) in AWS-hosted OpenShift environments. This role is responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying Maximo applications and customizations, ensuring reliable release management, and supporting the operational lifecycle of Maximo environments. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Maximo deployments, paired with strong technical knowledge of AWS Cloud and Red Hat OpenShift.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and upgrade activities for Maximo MAS 8/9 within AWS-hosted OpenShift clusters.
• Configure and manage Maximo environments (Dev, Test, Prod), ensuring smooth migration of code, integrations, and patches across environments.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate Maximo deployment processes, including code promotion, configuration changes, and environment builds.
• Work closely with developers and administrators to deploy custom Maximo components, integrations (MIF, REST APIs, external systems), and industry solutions.
• Optimize OpenShift container orchestration for Maximo workloads, leveraging Operators, Helm, and Kubernetes best practices.
• Manage AWS services supporting Maximo and OpenShift (EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch) for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Document deployment procedures, standards, and runbooks to ensure repeatability and operational excellence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and runtime issues in Maximo environments, collaborating with DevOps and infrastructure teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience deploying and managing IBM Maximo (7.6, MAS 8/9 preferred) in enterprise environments.
• Proven experience deploying Maximo within containerized platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure and services relevant to Maximo (EKS, RDS, EC2, IAM, S3).
• Proficiency with deployment automation and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of Maximo deployment architecture, integrations (MIF, REST APIs), and upgrade processes.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills across Maximo, AWS, and OpenShift layers.

Preferred Qualifications

• IBM Maximo MAS 8/9 certification or equivalent hands-on deployment experience.
• AWS Solutions Architect, SysOps, or DevOps certification.
• Red Hat OpenShift Administration or Kubernetes certification.
• Experience in utilities, energy, or asset-intensive industries.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills for working with cross-functional IT and business teams.
• Ability to document processes, procedures, and deployment standards clearly.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on deployment repeatability and environment stability.
