Nursery Practitioner – Chesterfield

Monarch Education are currently recruiting for qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioners at one of our partner nurseries in Chesterfield.

We have a range of opportunities available:

– Full Time & Part Time, Long Term (potential permanent opportunities)

– Ad-hoc daily cover; work when you choose!

Requirements of applicant:

• You MUST have a qualification in Early Years or Childcare (applications without this, will not be considered)
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS National Curriculum
• Experienced supporting children of EYFS age (0-5 years old)
• Confident in the planning and delivery of effective learning activities

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist children of all EYFS ages with personal care where required
• You must be flexible to work in any room in the nursery – including the baby room
• Keep up to date records on children’s progress and report back to management and parents
• Encourage the social development of all children during learning and break times
• Ensure all children always feel safe and their welfare is always looked after
• Promote learning through a range of differentiated learning activities
