Senior Manufacturing Accountant ID-1474 – Amazon Store

Robert Half are recruiting for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Accountant to support a leading global business on a 6-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong manufacturing finance background to step into a highly visible, hands-on role within global operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a key finance partner to operations across five manufacturing sites globally
• Lead and support cost roll processes, including SAP standard costing updates and variance analysis
• Deliver accurate inventory reporting, including provisions and balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure robust cost control, analysing under/over absorption and driving transparency in manufacturing costs
• Support planning cycles, including quarterly forecasts, strategic plans, and board-level reporting
• Work closely with plant finance and operations teams to enhance financial visibility and decision-making

Key Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as a cost accountant or manufacturing accountant is essential
• Strong background in SAP, particularly with standard costing and inventory modules
• Excellent Excel skills, including Power Query and macro writing
• Comfortable working across international teams in a matrixed environment
• Qualified or part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA) preferred, though strong experience will be considered
