Hiring: IT Business Analyst -SAP FICO – Malaysia (Client Location) | New Era Technology

About the Role:

New Era Technology is looking for experienced IT Business Analyst- SAP FICO to be deployed at our prestigious client in Malaysia at their Selangor office.

️ Key Responsibilities:

• As an IT Business Analyst (Finance and Controlling IT), you identify and analyze business requirements for creative and innovative IT solutions based on business needs and strategic requirements. You are responsible for working on our SAP system landscape towards S/4HANA for Finance & Controlling processes.
• Designing global solution concepts, System/Solution architecture and validate technical and business process feasibility. Implementing and supporting Global IT solutions innovating Finance & Controlling journeys by using emerging techniques/technologies.
• Collaborating and cooperating with different project stakeholders including business, IT and external partners. Additionally, you will be expected to recommend business process improvements, solving business problems, creating innovative solutions, and thus enabling business excellence. Lastly you will definitely profit from your functional & technical experience in the areas, Finance, General Ledger, AR, AA, etc. Basic understanding of tax accounting and debugging skills in ABAP is an advantage.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree /or master’s degree, Computer Science or other relevant education
• At least 3+ years of experience as SAP FICO Consultant in SAP ERP 6.0 environment / S/4HANA in the following areas: Finance (General Ledger, AR, AA) including interfaces with external systems. Basic understanding of tax accounting and technical skills in ABAP is beneficial.
• Good understanding of business processes in finance and controlling, especially integration with sales & distribution, in the context of a globally operating enterprise or experienced in Banking & Treasury & currency exchange.
• Ability to handle implementation projects & solve complex tasks.
• Understanding of IFRS 15 & 16 requirement is an advantage.
• Strong drive for success and high level of commitment
• Willingness to learn and develop yourself and your colleagues.
• Excellent communication skills, high commitment, self-responsibility, and customer orientation
• Experience in working in an international/virtual/geographically dispersed team

• Nationality: Malaysians preferred. Open for all nationalities who are willing to work onsite in Malaysia
• Availability: Candidates who can join max in 30-60 days.
