Senior Lead Data Engineer
ALTEN DELIVERY CENTER MAROC, a subsidiary of the global leader in engineering and technology consulting, seeks a Senior Lead Data Engineer with expertise in data engineering, distributed data architectures, and technical leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science (Bac+5)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering, including significant experience as a technical reference
- Confirmed expertise in data engineering (5 years minimum)
- Mastery of distributed data architectures (Apache Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, or equivalent)
- Experienced in developing data pipelines and using orchestration tools such as Airflow or Dagster
- Mastery of streaming frameworks
- Good knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of data synchronization and optimization strategies between Edge and Cloud
- Mastery of CI/CD and monitoring tools for data services
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, etc.)
- Solid skills in Linux administration
- Technical leadership, ability to lead and challenge teams
- Sense of data governance and quality
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills
